Fall Centerpiece on a Budget
Looking for an easy, budget-friendly fall centerpiece?
I love the colors on this fall harvest table runner from Target and knew I wanted to incorporate it into my fall decor. The colors are perfect together and will offer some flexibility if and when I want to change out the accessories in the wood tray later on.

This small wood carved tray will be so versatile throughout the year as a main component of my centerpieces, no matter the season.
I also picked this up from Target, but no longer see it available on their website. You might still find it in your local Target, but here’s a larger version online. And bonus, it’s on clearance.
Keep an eye out for a similar rustic carved tray at your local thrift stores, too. So far I haven’t been so lucky, but maybe you will be!

For the rest of the display, I used cinnamon-scented pine cones and a (real) mini pumpkin.
Bringing the outdoors in can be a little trickier as the temps cool down, but mini pumpkins and gourds are an inexpensive way to bring color and nature into your decor. And they’re so hardy that they’ll likely be a lasting part of your fall centerpiece for a good part of the season.
I love the smell of these pine cones. They add just the right amount of fragrance to the room without being overpowering at all. They’ll also take me from my fall centerpiece right through the winter months as I switch out the mini pumpkin for something a little more fitting for winter.
